Weave Care 101: Keep It Cute, Keep It Clean
1. Detangle First, Always. Detangle while hair is damp/wet. Grab your wide-tooth comb or wig brush and gently detangle. Treat your bundles like royalty—just like your own crown. Co-wash if you want that soft slip, but don’t skip the clarifying shampoo when it’s time to deep clean. Weekly wash days? Alternate between co-wash and shampoo for balance.
2. Deep Condition Like You Mean It. Especially for curly textures, conditioning is non-negotiable. It helps define curls, detangle with ease, and restore moisture stripped by shampoo. Moisture = magic. Frizz and tangles? We don’t know her, wash downward, squeeze water out of hair to pulse curls back to life,
3. Dry It Right. Wash-and-go sounds cute until mildew pulls up uninvited. Sit under a dryer for 1–2 hours to make sure your braids and bundles are fully dry. If your bundles aren’t installed yet, let them air dry—they’ll thank you later.
