Our Raw Kinky Straight Hair Tape-ins are made from 100 percent single donor hair with a natural texture designed for effortless blending secure grip and lightweight volume that lasts through multiple installs.
Care
1. Start by gently detangling the hair before washing. Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers. Always start from the ends and work your way up to the top.
2. Wash the hair in lukewarm water using a sulfate-free shampoo. Don’t scrub or twist it, just run your fingers through to cleanse.
3. Rinse thoroughly and apply a moisturizing conditioner. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes so the hair can soak it in, then rinse with clean water.
4. After rinsing, gently squeeze out excess water with a towel. Don’t rub it.
5. Always let the hair air dry. You can place it on a wig stand or lay it flat on a clean towel. Avoid blow-drying unless you’re in a rush, and even then use a heat protectant.
6. Use a wide-tooth comb or a paddle brush to style once it’s fully dry. For curly textures, a spray bottle with water and a leave-in conditioner mix works best to refresh the curls.
7. When using heat tools like flat irons or curling wands, always use a heat protectant and keep the temperature under 450°F.
8. Deep condition the hair every 2 to 3 weeks, especially if you wear it often. This helps keep the strands soft and full of life.
9. Don’t sleep or swim with the hair unless it’s braided down and protected under a bonnet or swim cap.
10. Store the hair in a satin or silk bag when you’re not wearing it to prevent tangling and dryness.

Burmese Curls

Kinky Curls

The curls are small and tight, but soft to the touch and easy to manage with the right hydration. This is the go-to texture for a “this could be my real hair” effect.
Kinky Straight
This one looks like natural 4B/4C hair that’s been blow-dried. It’s thick, soft, and full of texture. It has a slight kink to it, not bone straight, which gives it that realistic, natural finish. You can flat iron it for a sleeker look or wear it as-is for that fluffy blown-out vibe.
Loose Waves
These are soft, flowing waves with a natural “S” pattern. They’re not too curly, not too straight, just the perfect middle ground if you want something versatile and low-maintenance. The texture gives body and bounce, and it can be curled or straightened easily.
Natural Waves
This is the most effortless, beachy wave pattern. It looks like your hair dried naturally after a braid-out or light twist-out. The wave is loose, airy, and gives a more carefree, undone feel. It’s super soft, flows beautifully, and looks amazing when air-dried.
Lengths
All textures are mainly available in lengths ranging from 18 to 26 inches. Burmese curls and kinky curls will appear shorter than straight or wavy textures because of the shrinkage in their curl pattern. If you want a longer look with curly textures, size up.
Colors
Each wig comes in natural black or dark brown tones straight from the donor, but you can request custom coloring. These wigs can also be dyed professionally to any color you like. The hair takes color well because it hasn’t been chemically processed.
